Also I got some new art supplies this weekend and sort of went nutso. This was one of the results. As usual, I am not really a proper artist. I can sometimes *see* what's wrong but not know how to fix it. All the same, criticism is still welcome.

Oh, but I like it! Nice dreamy wash.

Auron's ponytail attaches farther down on his head, and that's not quite his stance (he's never that open, Mr. Pole-up-butt), but that doesn't really matter with an impressionistic watercolor like this.

I really love the tree, the composition, Jecht on birdie, and especially (although it's such a simple detail) Braska's staff.

It should be a desktop.

I saw right away that Auron was odd looking (I also don't know that he'd ever hold his sword like that), but didn't want attempt to fix him for fear of messing up either of the others. Oh well -- let's just say Auron was feeling particularly chipper that day. : P

Wow! So lovely. This picture captures such an eminent feel...

I adore this! You know what, this reminds me of a Mama Plotbunny that has assaulted me and won't leave me alone! Guardian!Baralai Alternate Reality. The main characters are Tidus and Baralai. The original FFX merges with FFX-2 in such a way all the characters are carried over, but it banishes the sequel from existence!

It's an epic novel variation of my The Scholar drabble series. :3

And why I bring this up? Because this picture reminds me of the epic parallel dynamic Tidus/Yuna/Baralai and Jecht/Braska/Auron. Sigh. Wonderful parallel... Must get to writing that story with fellow FFX fan and dear friend! :D
