Oh YES.
I dug through all the DOINK entries 2 days ago to see if this story was out... and here it is!

This is a great way to play with the age difference between Braska and Auron -- it never would've occurred to me to have the one teaching the other (although there is certainly a sort of mentoring dynamic between them in game).

You've got hotheaded, mostly-traditional-but-not-quite Auron absolutely IC as usual, and Braska his heathen self.

Also, you are nearly the only writer that does Kinoc justice, although he didn't have much of a chance in this.

It's not actually posted to Doink! yet -- the archive is closed, probably until the Chocobo Down is released.

Headcanon Braska was 35 when he died, but I'm pretty I got that number from a canon-ish thing. Ultimania maybe?

Poor Kinoc doesn't get much room to be himself here, alas. I'm glad you like it so far -- there is much angst to come.

Yep, it's Ultimania: Braska and Auron are 10 years apart.
