So, you remember my last post? My self righteous rant about this civil rights issue not being related at all to the Black Civil Rights Movement? Yeh.

According to Marriage Equality USA:

I meant to reply to that entry but didn't have time. I think it's very easy to draw parallels between any minorities. The one difference is that we can hide it, and blacks cannot. But does automatically mean that we have it "better" off? I mean, hiding the core of your identity causes psychological harm. And I bet that if we could not hide it, it would have been a LOT different...we would be put in the same positions as many blacks in America, as seen by the Holocaust. Our experiences are different. I don't think it's right to measure them, to see who has it worse or better. Because no matter what way we look at it, OPPRESSION IS FUCKING STUPID.
