Your post made me realize how much I've missed Conbec, my Irish Wolfhound. I've sent an owl to father asking to send him. As father is quite fond of him it may take some persuading on my part. Of course I will check with the headmaster to make sure the hound is welcomed back at the castle, I think he behaved himself admirably the last time he was here.
I hope your little Pippin has a warm welcome from the castle cats...as warm as cats can manage.
Hi Professor! I've seen your little kitty in the halls recently. I'd say Pippin's a good name. I've tried reading those LotR books, but haven't had much luck getting into them so far (Tolkein is so...descriptive.). My brothers, Fred and George, did take me to see the films over the summer, though. All three of them were playing at once. I didn't think I'd ever get the feeling back in my bum. But I expect I'll try reading the books again now I've got a clearer idea of what goes on.
