JACK OF ALL TRADES, MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE

Oct 26, 2012 01:02

Man, life just never fails to get weirder. There was less weird crap in the first fifteen years of my life than there've been in the past five. I remember when I was a kid, I thought that everyone was pretty much exactly the same in the head, it's just the bodies that were different.

But man. People are damned crazy, self included.

I get so excited when I'm thinking up Subject Names. )

scholastic fantastic, ahahahahajapanesefail, what is this i don't even

Ugh, your boss sounds awful and reminds me of way too many teachers and people I have worked for that I'd rather forget. Glad you've found ways to make the best of it, but keep your eyes open for a better place if there is one. "Building character" or whatever they call it nowadays shouldn't come at the cost of making people snap and turn into axe murderers :p

Good luck with all the learnings! Sounds like it's going well and tough in a good way, hopefully! I have squash soup on the menu as well, whenever I get motivated to dig out the blender again ^^;;

She spews abuse at me, but when I told her that even if I somehow managed to not quit right the hell now, I definitely would be rolling out come February because I had to go home to get knee surgery anyways. Her response was all god why can't you get the knee surgery in Japan? Why do you need knee surgery anyways? You're young, you should working.

Axe murdering HERE I COME.

Squash soup sounds divine, and things are going as well as I coulda hoped for! c:

I think the handbook says that to be a Good Helpful Functioning Member of Society, this is where we go out to the bar and I'm supposed to talk you out of doing anything rash. Having lost my copy of the handbook ages ago, this is where we go out to the bar and I mention I might have a spare axe lying around, and let me know if you need help hiding the body, yeah? Ugh. Glad that there is a definite end in sight even if it's not some sort of restaurant coup/mutiny where you and your coworkers arm yourselves with pots and spatulas to overthrow your boss. Though if you want/can quit before Feb, I'd say go for it. Those sort of environments tend to wear you down without one even knowing about it =/

Finally got around to making the soup this weekend; at least I got a roast chicken out of the deal even if everything else falls apart. I guess I'll find out at dinner :p

*hugs and hopes things keep going well*

just so you know, i panicked when i hit 18. all of a sudden it came to me, "all my favourite characters are 18, or younger. there are very few over 21. oh my god i've wasted my entire life i'm going to be SO FREAKING BORED UNTIL THE DAY I DIE"

yeah. it was a fun moment. now i'm too busy sleeping till noon every morning to worry about that.

Begonias? really? really? i'm disappointed in you.

Your boss is awful, oh my god, aren't there some kind of rules she's going against by being so mean to you? honestly, people shouldn't have to put up with that stuff. =(

I'm not sure if I should congratulate you or offer you my condolences for getting placed in a higher class - it's great to hear you are awesomely awesome, but of course it's expectedly harder.

PLEASE TELL US ABOUT YOUR INSANE CLASSMATE. it sounds like a good story.

what's the wholly Japanese book about?

I'm legit 21 now and my teachers were all man you must be so excited to be a real adult now RIGHT. And I'm like it sure feels like life is a lot duller and less easy and fun than it was when I was twelve /)A(\ Equal parts happy and depressed, really ( ... )

Hah, I think I'd prefer having to deal with that rather than "oh my god, you're an adult woman now, how are you still this idiotic", heh. i don't remember life at 12 being easier or more fun, though. i get to DO STUFF NAO, I can go places and do bungee jumping and stuff, man! life at 12 was just less busy for me. XD ( ... )

Also if I live to be eighty, I'm having trouble figuring out what filler to stuff the next sixty years or so with. So far, Youtube and internet friends.

^^; It does feel as if I'm stuffing my years with filler-ish things relating to internet fandom and internet friends more than anything else.... ahhh, the perks of being a socially-awkward introvert. Real-life people can be so hard to open up to :/

That said, your boss sounds awfully nit-picky, and work sounds tough. I really have to raise my hat to you on juggling school and work, and all in JAPAN. I don't think I could have managed it at all.

Also also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Hope you'll have a great day celebrating/eating/drowning in sake \o/

Makes me wonder if apparently non-s0cially awkward people feel like their life is full of filler too >A< And real life people lack interest in other real life people. Then we all get online and console each other WHAT IS THIS IDIOT CIRCLE.

She's not the nicest, no /)A(\ And I'm flattered you think I'm a good juggler. 'cos it feels like I'm drowning most of the time 8'D

THANK YOU MY BB. Got no friends tho, so I'm not going out for a part or anything tonight lolsob. Going out for dinner though, so I'm happy enough c:

THEY PROBABLY DO. Maybe that's why we all end spending so much time writing fanfic - we're making it up by writing a filler arc for our own lives :/

Well, you do sound like you're handling it kind of okay though! :P I'd probably be dying underneath all the work and posting whiny entries on LJ

And birthday dinners are always awesome ! :D
