The moral of yesterday.

In case of drunken officemates, do not leave yourself "always logged in" to livejournal.

Edit: You get some protection from actually-embarassing entries if you have a keyboard layout nobody else can type on. =)

*snort* I thought that was a "left the computer logged in" post. You have some weird officemates.

Noooo clue. And the people who ...might know who was messing with my computer...also "don't know." Note the quotations.

My quick translation (I might have made a mistake or two):
"g assdddddddddddddddddddddddddddd hatrdy drthdfty6r7m m dsy ht"

So it appears Muffin's officemates could use some typing lessons.

You've just inspired me to try dvorak.

My take: it takes about 2-3 weeks, if you switch cold-turkey and use typing tutor programs, to get up to your previous WPM level. It takes about a month and a half before you actually feel comfortable using dvorak. Once you're there, typing is a lot easier and a lot more fun, and you can do it a lot faster; you never need to look at the keys, etc....but you also seem to lose a lot of your ability to type effectively on a qwerty keyboard. So there are definitely some upsides and downsides...(including the coincidentally-increased-computer-security feature) but I'm pretty happy I switched.

it does not quite seem like the standard transmission of typing
