I would assume that the word "bizarre" is in quotes because they are quoting the original article's use of the word. Either that or someone needs to beat them down with a grammar book.

I can't even get mad at the gender stereotyping. Lindsay and Sam are friggin adorable. And I hate myself for saying that but there you have it.
