That's actually a pretty cool method for keeping yourself motivated, a bit batty perhaps. Hah! But good none the less.
I know when I worked at Maccas during High School I used to have to count down the time and split it up so I'd be saying "one hour until I can go on break, and then just 3 hours more" and such so I didn't go mad. XD

I'm glad your new technique is working for you. :3
