It might be just a coincidence but Ahi's iri was also canceled. Have they all been hit by the plague again?

Are you saying that Ahi may not have the energy to see her fans/not want her fans to get infected, or that Ahi is worried about catching something while doing iri?

Anyway, I certainly hope it's a coincidence :( And in the past they've specifically said when it's H1N1, so I'm going to assume Morie has something different/something else happened. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing...

Ahi wasn't sick as of yesterday, but I'm pretty sure she and Morie are in the same dressing room, so it might be a preemptive anti-infection thing. Hopefully it's just a shigoto something or other, though they usually tell you when it is... this email just said "under the circumstances."

If Morie only got sick within the past day or two, that isn't enough time to do a rapid test on the type of flu she would have. Regular flu isn't any fun either... hopefully she'll get better and be back soon.

What worries me is that usually they don't pull siennes out until they physically can't performance on stage... (Unless Morie has H1N1 and they don't want it to spread to the rest of the troupe?)

Ack! Poor Morie.

They really are dropping like flies lately, aren't they? :( :(

They really are :(

I have two theories about this. Either,

1) The new schedule of one-month runs is a lot harder and it's affecting their health, or...
2) The company is being more lax about allowing them to rest when they're sick.

When you add in the fact that this has been a bad season for the flu, it's hard to tell.

... One of the options is a good one. Is it sad how off that threw me?

I really hope it's option two, and that they really are just cutting the girls some well-deserved slack. Especially since you're right, they did announce the H1N1 cases before. Maybe they're letting her rest, but then again there's no way to tell. It might in fact be something serious. :(

If she's out until the end of the run (ie two weeks), I'm thinking it might not be the flu - even senka members only took a week off for it during the Legend outbreak. I'm hoping she hasn't done anything to her legs :(

The problem is that they tend to not pull them out until they physically can't stand on stage :/

Honestly, I would rather that it was only the flu. The flu is nasty, but you recover from it. The concept of a physical injury or another serious health condition worries me much more T_________T

Don't even think that :S Morie's such a sweetheart. I'll have to send a get-well card to her.

(Although since my Japanese is close to nonexistent, does it say "until the end of the run" or "until further notice"? In the latter case, it could be the flu and they're just not sure when she'll be back on her feet.)

It just says "The time of her return is undecided." She could be back in a week. She could miss the entire run. Let's hope it's not anything major!

And as for the flu absences, they actually SAID they were out due to the flu, didn't they?
