More thoughts on 2009...

I can't figure out what tsuki is doing in 2009.  (Granted I think we're all in the dark given that we haven't gotten a new top musumeyaku announcement, nor has Asako announced her retirement).

So there's a show that will be at Theater Drama City, and then Showa Women's University.  My guess would be that this is tsukigumi's Berubara, and that they ( Read more... )

2009 schedule, speculation, kiriya hiromu, tsukigumi

Honestly I think it's a split in likelihood between Kiriyan, Ahi, and Mirio. If anything I think it's slightly more likely that it's Ahi's, precisely because it's a short-run full Bow that doesn't go to Tokyo - she doesn't have the broad fanbase to fill the Seinenkan, so I can see why they would keep her away from that.
Mirio I think is just as likely as Kiriyan, but she also had a workshop and a shinko lead in the same year, and both of those tend to lead to skipping a year between leads even among those who got leads really early like Tomu and Sararan. But they're still pushing her really hard, so I wouldn't put it past them even though she's so young.

Edit: Also, about her not being treated as sanbante - she isn't. She's never listed properly in the mooks, and she doesn't have media appearances commensurate to the other sanbante. However, she's never yet been cheated out of a role according to her rank, going back to Akanesasu, and that tells me that she's not popular but the company still trusts her technical talent. That's why I ( ... )

I'll keep my fingers crossed for your sake <3

I somehow totally forgot she was in Akanesasu...probably because I haven't seen the touring version. Anyway, you make a good point, although I feel like she was cheated ranking-wise for MiiMai. Then again, I didn't see her as the Jackie type *shrug*

That's because Akanesasu hasn't been released yet. *grumbles* ... Then again, I'm pretty sure I don't actually want to see Ahi sing "La vie en rose" again. Love may make you blind, but it doesn't always make you deaf. ;)
And oh god she would have made a horrible Jackie. She's twice Asako's size. Mami was small and she still looked silly.

About Showa University... I believe the last time they did a show in the university, it was Osa's "I Got Music", which makes me wonder if the Nippon/Showa show next year will be a concert for Asako or Kiriyan.

Minus the silly screen special effects, I liked the "SENA!" concert. That being said, I want it to be Kiriyan's turn, if just because she's only had one dinner show. And, er, the usual reasons -_-;

I remember reading/hearing somewhere once that they get to chose between a dinner show or a Bow Hall performance -- and some prefer one, while others prefer the other. ...Maybe Kiriyan would just rather have Bow Hall shows than a dinner show?

But, yeah, anyway, I think you're right. Kiriyan deserves a concert. It would be a concert of Love. <3

Hankyu would let them choose? That's interesting...as a fan I think I would prefer a Bow Hall performance. Dinner show tickets are so expensive, and even when you get the DVD you're paying 8400 yen for an hour's worth of material.

I wonder if Yuuhi really likes dinner shows then?

Tsukigumi isn't doing Beubara. They're escaping unscathed. ;) I thought I had pointed this out, but apparently not publicly enough?

(from the Sora Berubara summary)

...2008年より全国ツアー公演において、主人公を変えながら3部作として上演してきた『外伝 ベルサイユのばら』の最後を飾る公演となります。

My guess for the Bow is Ahi. It's her turn, in my opinion, and I think the short run backs this possibility.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that part. I have to admit, I will not exactly be crying if tsukigumi doesn't do a BeruBara ^^;; Poor tsukigumi and its fans I think are still traumatized from PariSora...

And I agree, it does seem like it's time for Ahi to have a Bow. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Maggy's sake ;)
