He wouldn't be some kind of coward. And how much they cared about Olivier, or frowned at the idea of his actions. How lovely all these reactions were to him

[A drone at the time, Margot has missed the whole Kimbley-Olivier thing. As she steps out of her house at Mitchell (mostly to escape cooking dinner for the drone family), she doesn't bat an eyelash at the other man walking down the street, instead eyeing him with curiosity and offering a quick wave.]

*He pauses to look to the side, spotting the woman before he lifts a gloved hand, giving her a pleasant smile and a wave in return.*

Yes! It's a wonderful day. Weather is behaving, and that's always good.

Does it ever change, seriously? I don't think it's rained once since I've been here.

Really? That's curious.

*Come to think of it, it had never rained here, or anything of that sort, since Kimbley had been there. Not even a gray cloud in the sky once.*

*He spots those rabbits and he can't help but raise his eyebrows at the sight. Crimson steps up to the fence and peers down at some the nearby rabbits*

Are they all yours?

[Saya is outside, blissfully enjoying her last day of free food before SOMEBODY was about to get undroned into her household, destroy several verbal pacts and upset Saya's concept of the food pyramid forever yes nadia iamlookingatyou.

Kimbley will find Saya frying ants on the sidewalk with a magnifying glass.

It's innocent enough not to warrant a punishment droning from the higher-ups (children do this all the time, right?) but still retains a smidge of sadism to keep Saya mildly entertained.

She's been here for at least twenty minutes now, and has created several delicious ant burgers on the sidewalk. And by ant burgers, I mean she scooped a pile of cornstarch right next to an anthill and waited for a large amount of ants to gather around it before burning them all at once with the magnifying glass hahahahaha.]

*Kimbley steps up behind the young girl, his shadow cutting off the sun's supply in order fry the ants in the first place. He stares down at the girl, his blue eyes glinting under the shade of his hat before he takes off his hat and steps aside, a sweet smile suddenly appearing on his once intimidating expression. He laughs lightly as he stands to the side now.*

Having fun there, Miss?

[She looks up at the newcomer with a look of surprise.]

[Her head swerves back and forth from Kimbley to the mangled antpile. Pause. Explanation.]

*He blinks at her explanation. Honestly, as a child, he would have done the same thing if he was considerably bored. He tilts his head to the side, laughing gently as he puts back on his hat.*

It's quite alright. As long as you're having fun, yes?

*His eyes widen at her sudden fall and he can't help but laugh behind his gloved hand. He walks over and kneels down to offer some help*

[Al is sitting out on his porch, enjoying the sun and just... relaxing when he sees Kimbley walk by.

He sucks in a sharp breath and gets tense.

He's not sure if Kimbley knows who he is, what he looks like now.]

*Kimbley notices the boy on the porch and lifts a hand to offer a wave before he stops half way, seeing that the tense look in his body language. It was one of shock or fear that the Crimson Alchemist knew so well.

But this boy... had he ever met him before?*

[Al isn't sure what to say. Should he pretend he doesn't know him? He can tell Kimbley's already picked up that he at least has some inkling about who the Crimson Alchemist is.

It's probably not too far of a stretch to recognize him either, the gold eyes and gold hair that are the same exact color as Ed's.]

... Kimbley. [Wary.]

*His eyes widen a fraction. He knew him? But how... he squints at him before he does notice the blond hair and familiar gold eyes. No. Edward didn't have more than one sibling but that only meant--*
