best of luck, Migo! (and to you, too, See-Yin, if you are reading this). When Ryan and I ran our 10k he was nice enough to not leave me in the dust behind him, but since it was a super-crowded and "for fun" event no one was worried about setting awesome times overly much.

I'm in awe of both of your fitness achievements. I'm planning to get back into running this summer, but I have what seems to be a chronic illiotibal band injury that won't disappear, despite two rounds of chiropractic treatment (we're talking about 8 sessions from two chiropractors solely for this injury). Riding my fixed-gear seems to aggravate it. But I'm hoping it can sustain some gentle tune-up runs pretty soon.

Thanks Sonya! :) The half-marathon went well. See Yin and I both beat last year's time of 2:39. I was able to manage a 2:12 and she got 2:22. Next year will be even faster (I hope).

I sympathize with you it comes to the running injuries. :( I hope it gets better soon. I started road cycling as a fall-back plan, seeing as injury follows all runners. See Yin, my dad and my brother all have painful knees from the run, and my right foot's arch is a bit messed up today.
