So garage band, can get it for PCs or is it a Mac thing??

Mac thing. You can read more here, but suffice it to say that it's pretty easy & intuitive. Also consider that what you here is basically 3 tracks that I recorded into nothing more than the crappy little microphone that is built in to the iMac.
