Hi, was just doing my yearly checkup of all things nightmare, and I found your name on the char list. Neat. I remembered you since you were always helping the newbies on it.. Thanks! What do you play nowadays?

I'm just going to poke around some of these songs and pictures and stuff. Nothing stalkery..

Wow, someone who actually remembers me helping newbies. Huhm.

Since my predictable downfall from NM, I have returned to the first mud I played in, Aldebaran. It's a lot simpler than NM was, as well as a lot more friendly. There's no pk, quests are required, very little on the customization front, but the admin care deeply about the players and conflicts are very minimal. The world is crafted a lot more consistantly and cleanly; since it is run by German computer wizzes (based out of Berlin), things that are in game and live tend to be extremely tight and bug free. Uptimes are well over 100 days (longest time without a reboot was close to 400 days). So, drop on in and check it out.

I tried Aldebaran, but I didnt really get into it. The dragon in the newbie quest made me do it all over again, and the very next thing I did was get turned into a frog. I then decided to try a quest, and what it didnt say after spending 30 infuriating minutes on a maze, would that I would need to have a crate load of gold. So I quit.. I think I'm barely capable of pressing the right mouse button in modern rpgs anymore.. :)
Still, the people in the game are really nice and helpful.. Unfrogging me, etc..

I got some music / covers located at: http://www.atqx39.dsl.pipex.com/ if you want to take a look.
