Manky Gets Grafted

Quick update on the Manky situation and to let you all know I'm alive and - well not kicking exactly, but alive none-the-less ;)

So I'm back in hospital and had surgery yesterday morning for the skin graft. I was super anxious about it because I hate pain and I anticipated how much it'd hurt. To be honest it's not actually as bad as I had expected.

Yikes.

I hope all goes well. Strangely enough my grandmother had just gotten a skin graft also (a non cancerous growth) so she's been in bed & hospital rest for the past 10 days. We see her tomorrow but she's not getting out -she's getting transferred to a respite/rest centre or something.

Argh I'm super late in replying to this - sorry!! Thanks :) Hope your grandmother is doing ok and glad to hear it's non-cancerous. It's good to be home and out of hospital though. Not looking forward to going back to work next week though, but I can't afford any more time off - I've been off for a month D: Would have been nicer if I didn't have marking to do during my "sick" leave...
