Theatre Geeks! I need old fashioned costumes or other costumes for an old-timey photo booth! Please, can I borrow your costumes? Also, I need ideas for an easy/free/inexpensive to make carnival game. GOT IDEAS?

purplesquirrel got any suggestions for me? I have no budget to rent.

ring toss, bean bag toss, pie toss . . basically anything you can toss, LOL.

Yeah, we're going to be like one of ten tables, so I'm trying to think of something that doesn't involve tossing, but still gives them the opportunity to win tickets.

it's fall so maybe bob for pumpkins? you can usually find cheap plastic ones that float this time of year. write a number on the bottom and give them tickets based on that number?

If this is for a nonprofit you might be able to convince someone at NorCostCo or Chanhassen to donate the use of the costumes.

That's a great idea!
It's an internal employee fair to promote our diversity and interests groups, but I might be able to charge them a nominal fee for prints and donate that money to a particular charity. Like $5. Maybe I can borrow a smallish photo printer from someone, so I can just print on the spot. Hmm... I only have a large and extra large printer.
Whether or not some of these stodgy banker employees are willing to dress up and have fun with it is an entirely different concern. Hmm....
I already have live music lined up. We are the Creativity & Wellness group. Our booth has to be the best! Ha ha.

Since I have your undivided attention...do you ever teach workshops or dabble in drama therapy type activities? I'm looking for some variety for my workshops.

I don't. You could hire Jill Bernard to lead an improv workshop. Sandbox Theatre does workshops too, I think, as does Carin Bratle.

Oh - and Maren Ward leads workshops too.
