[Draco sits in front of a fireplace, reading. He looks a bit older than he is now, a thick book propped open in his lap. Most obvious, other than his age, is that his left forearm is utterly bare. For those who know him well enough, this isn't the case in reality

[ Harry's not sure what to say about that vision. Ironically it doesn't differ much from his own, and he was grateful at least that his dreamberry hadn't broadcasted it. ]

Making a habit of calling me and saying nothing, are we? Isn't that something Muggles do?

[ Harry lets out a small laugh. Apparently Draco's actually good at that. ]

No sorry, I just wasn't sure what to say.

[mudbloodhater]

[he's very good at that. When one gives him the chance to do so.]

Well, there's not that much to say, is there? I can't for the life of me figure out what the purpose of these bloody cards is, though.

I think they just show you what you want most.

They're a lot like the Mirror of Erised. You could probably waste the rest of your life replaying these things.

[that'd make sense.]

So it's not going to happen?

[sonuvasnitch]

[ Harry shrugs. ]

I don't know. Mine...[ There's a slight pause. ] Mine was of my parents. You know, having a family. They're both dead. So I dont' see how that can happen for me.

[ Granted it may have all been symbolic anyway. ]

[mudbloodhater]

[he's quiet for a moment.]

Can't get rid of a Dark Mark.

[sonuvasnitch]

[ Harry pauses again. ]

No, but you can be happy with your mum.

[ And that's the truth. His mother's still alive at least. ]

[mudbloodhater]

My mum's not here. And I am. [he just wants his mummy. ;;]

[sonuvasnitch]

No, but at least she's back home.

[ The words are out before Harry can stop them. In his own time this may not have been so bad, in Draco's he still had a long way to go before that vision could be even a small reality. ]

[mudbloodhater]

[Draco's mouth is slightly pursed, and when he replies, it's more soft than it may have been in the past.]

You know, it's not my fault you don't have a family.

[sonuvasnitch]

[ Harry blinks a few times and looks away from the screen. ]

I know it's not your fault Draco.

[ And he means that, really he does. ]

[mudbloodhater]

[he stays silent, merely watching Harry and searching for some subtle reaction that told him he was being lied to. Finding nothing, he nods slightly.]

All right.

[sonuvasnitch]

[ Harry looks back to the screen once again not sure what exactly to say. ]

[mudbloodhater]

[he sniffs somewhat awkwardly.]

I'm sure you'll end up finding some element of a family. Whether it's here or there.
