Let the Marathon Begin.
Coming back to Earth after a horrible - let me repeat, HORRIBLE - experience trying to bed bug-proof my apartment. And it's not even over. The exterminators are coming on Monday and before then, kirleyfries and I have to evacuate our fish to safety, peel off our linens, and prep the apartment for the fumigation of Doom. I'm tired and jittery; hell, I've been itchy since Wednesday, and wasn't even bitten!
But to every cloud, there is a silver lining. First, I discover that madeof_stars gave me a lovely mention in her interview with mrspadfoot1 at Simply Undeniable, but then to my utter astonishment, I find out that I won two rhr_awards - Best Depiction of Ron in art, and Best Depiction of Hermione in art! Seriously guys, I'm so unbelievably touched. I cannot say enough to thank those of you who nominated me and then voted for me! What an absolutely wonderful honor! *BIG HUGS* *weeps*
As promised, we're doin' the Canon-Art Marathon! This one was in the works before the poll and I finally put my initials on it today. I'm actually quite excited about it....
Because I finally got to draw Voldemort.
