I love the ferocity of their expressions.

Sam was so protective of Frodo and I think just about as fed up with Gollum as possible at this point and that stinking Ring. You have all of that in his expression. Frodo, determined yet he has that unfocused look that tells me he is listening to the Ring. It always struck me how much strengh he showed at the end, sometimes crawling up that mountain to reach his goal.
You caught all of that perfectly.
