Thank you! I try and mention this app whenever I'm talking about accessibility because it goes to show that you don't have to be Apple, or Microsoft, or someone like that to plan for it.
Now I want to look into the dice games at Facebook - I loved playing Yahtzee on long trips! Glad to hear the game developers are willing to improve their games. :)
I haven't gotten into online or computer games (other than a few card games that I mindlessly play when I want to zone out). Probably just as well, or I'd waste more time on them than I do on the card ones. Still, glad you've found some you enjoy. I totally understand that not seeing the visual parts of most would make them useless.
The situation has actually gotten a little better since I originally went through this frustration--a couple of people have recently published books extolling accessible games--but I've mostly stuck with one or two favorites, and primarily Dice World. As you said, I really want a game that occupies me when I have a little time to burn, not one that'll pull me in for an entire afternoon. Rolling through a few dice games, for me at least, is perfect for that.
Thank you! I'm pleased you thought of this as clever, since I felt like I'd have to blow my brains out to get even the splatterings of a marginal idea. :)
I agree. This was a clever use of the prompt. I enjoyed reading it, and the clever tie-in with pennies. I'm not familiar with the online games you mentioned, but it didn't matter.
Thank you! I have a couple of possible storyline beginnings I've outlined for future Idol entries, but none of them really fit this prompt, and I didn't want to squeeze. *grin*
