I think it would be worth trying to socialise him. The idea of placing their cages in the same room and perhaps moving them slowly closer together sounds like a good one.

Birds that my family have had seem to like some people and really dislike others. They're choosy creatures. I'm sure Luen is not just a birdy jerk!
