It's official

I'm now a legit California resident.

My car has been registered for the state, and my new license arrived in the mail today.

I'm experiencing a combination of productivity, sentimentality and sadness.

I know how you feel. Three weeks after we moved to Chicago, my wallet was stolen and I had to get an Illinois license to replace my lost LA one.

And very soon when we get the new car, my plate will be taken away, too. No conversation pieces in the employee parking lot for me!

Seriously!
I would always get a secret little thrill whenever people had a hard time finding my birthday on my LA license, since it was a different spot from the CA one ;)

But no more.... At least I'm keeping my 504 cell phone number!
