Sorbet sighed. 'I can't believe that, instead of trying to figure out what's going on, I'm going to a cafe with two complete STRANGERS...' Still, she had to admit, she really didn't have much else to do. Besides, she really liked cafes, and it seemed like forever since she had gone to one.
She glanced around, looking for the person who she was supposed to meet. 'Surely she wasn't SERIOUS about her "bright pink hair", was she?' Sorbet thought, pulling on the end of her skirt for the umpteenth time. 'I mean really, who has bright pink-' Her eyes met a girl with...bright pink hair. 'Of course.' She muttered, shuffling towards the girl. She looked nice enough...
Chibiusa notice the girl heading towards her - she looked a little uncomfortable, so the young senshi vowed to put her at ease as best she could. "Sorbet! Hi! Over here!" She shouted across the cafe. As Sorbet got closer, Chibiusa beamed brightly. "See, I told you you'd be able to find me - the hair kinda sticks out. Nice to meet you in person."
'She's loud...' Sorbet thought as she scuffled forward. She'd never been one for making friends- it always felt somewhat awkward for her. Still, it was kind of nice to meet a stranger that didn't look at her oddly. I mean, in almost ANY place, she stuck out. Atleast she knew she wasn't the most stick-outy person here.
'Of COURSE it sticks out.' She nodded slightly. "It's nice to meet you too." She said, sort of quietly. She reminded her of...Lassi, for some strange reason. Red eyes, hair that looked like rabbit ears (though Lassi DID have rabbit ears), a somewhat ridiculous amount of energy... Perhaps they would get along.
"Well, c'mon, sit down!" Chibiusa gestured to the chair across from her. "I got menus, in case you were hungry - I'm here for the cake." Closing her sketchbook and stowing it under her chair, she flipped open a menu. "So, Sorbet, tell me about where you're from - you went to a school before, right? Was it like this one?"
Demyx pushed open the door to the café, grinning at the little tinkling of the bell as he entered. A really simple sound, but he'd always liked bells (as far as he could remember, anyway, but he was not going to think about that), and it had been a while since the sound had been able to evoke an honest smile from him. He paused for a minute as the door swung shut behind him, then walked into the café, his long black coat flaring around his ankles
( ... )
"That's me!" Chibiusa looked up from her menu. "You must be Demyx - sit down! Do you need food?" She offered her menu. "Oh, and this is Sorbet - Sorbet, this is Demyx."
"Thanks! Nah, I'm good, the waitress already asked me." Demyx pulled out a chair and spun it around, sitting in it backwards with his arms on the seat back. "Nice to meetcha, Sorbet."

Sorbet squirmed in her seat. Everyone here seemed so...relaxed and HAPPY. Hadn't they been taken from somewhere else too? "Nice to...meetya." She hoped that she hadn't sounded as...emotionless as she had to herself.
"Um..." Great. She had no idea what she was going to say now. In an almost panic, she grabbed her menu and resumed her search for a food that didn't share a name with one of her classmates. 'Stupid, Stupid...' She muttered in her head, as she quickly skimmed over a rather suspicious dish that seemed to mention "Brie".
