Rei was already inside the cafe, sitting with her legs crossed and her foot lightly tapping as she flipped the pages of a magazine she was reading. A half-ate and half-forgotten sandwich was on the table next to her. She seemed content enough as she examined the clothes in the pictures, wondering if her current wardrobe was already out-of-date with a small sigh. It was nearly impossible to keep up with these things. Instead of her traditional uniforms, such as the fuku she'd worn at school or her miko garb she was instead dressed in a cute two piece suit. The top was a light spaghetti strapped silk shirt that was covered by a neatly buttoned jacked which matched the red color of her skirt. The skirt's hem didn't even touch her knees so all that was there were bare legs leading to her favorite pair of red heels. Her hair was down, as usual.

What a score! It didn't take Zelos long to see her as he moved into the cafe. Smiling he stood beside the table and watched her, "Hey there cutie!" He would greet her casually as he watched her look at a magazine. "How are you doing today? Care for some company?"

She didn't look up, just reached out and casually took a sliced pickle from the tray with her sandwich, bringing it up to bite off the head and shrugging as she did so. Men. Why did he have to start the conversation with a comment on her appearance? Couldn't he wait to see what sort of person she was? No. He was male. Men were only focused on themselves. "Suit yourself." She flipped the page of the magazine again, taking another bite of the pickle and raising an eyebrow at the image of the scantily clad girl before her. "Who would wear that?!" She said, not to Zelos but just in general display of her disgust.

Watching her Zelos just smiled and took a seat as he heard her say that he froze. He rubbed the back of his head, "Uh. Kay." Was all he said, "So what's your name? Unless you prefer that I continue to call you cutie...Which of couse I wouldn't mind."

Her brow furrowed and she finally looked at him. "I'm sure. My name is Rei Hino. You are?"

"My name is Zelos Wilder. It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Hino." Zelos was ALWAYS polite with women and he turned up the charm another notch because this one seemed a little colder than most. "So why are you here alone? I mean it's not bad if you wanted to be, but I am sure a woman like you must have friends right?"
