Finally, there was a class held at a reasonable time, Vince thought as he trudged to class. Although, being in a class with this particular professor....
Vince squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head, willing his blush down. He'd been thinking about the event since, and decided that they were...just going to keep things professional. In the classroom. Because that's what Dorothy would want, he reminded himself.
Upon reaching the classroom, he cracked open the door an inch and peeked inside.
Chiyo quickly rounded a corner, skidding again! but catching herself before she damanged her small body in any way. "Um, Mister?" she looked up to him, tilting her head. "Is something wrong?"
"Oh! I'm so sorry," she cringed slightly, petting his elbow. "I didn't mean to scare you like that..."
Chiyo really didn't mean to scare him, she was just... usually early to class. After the Electrical Enginnering incident, she made sure to be early for her classes.
Mayura skipped to class holding her notebook close. She wanted to know many things about dreaming. Perhaps they were really messages from aliens! She would find out soon. She opened the door and slipped into the classroom
Chibiusa stuck her head in the door. Greeat. Late AGAIN. I've gotta stop being so much like Baka Usagi. Sighing, she entered the room, pretending she didn't notice she was the last one there, and grabbed a seat, throwing her ridiculously cute pink bunny printbag on the desk in front of her. She wasn't quite sure if she needed to take notes or not - Xandra seemed like she'd be . . . unconventional at best.
Xandra nodded to her students as they arrived. Though she gave Vince a warm smile and eyed him for a moment, still surprised at how aggressive he could get. Her smile turned into an amused smirk as she thought about it.
She looked around, "Well, looks like everyone's here. So I'm going to go ahead and start. I thought that we would go over sleep patterns, before we delve into dreams. It's important to understand sleep in order to understand dreaming. Sleep is a way of turning away from external stimuli - the world around us. It allows us to regenerate and rejuvenate. We need sleep in order to function properly and as I'm sure you've experienced at least once in your life time, sleep deprivation has a profound effect on efficiency and ability. And dreaming is a part of regeneration. After you go a while with no sleep the body seems to require additional dreaming time to make up for lost time, so to speak. And you dream every night. It's impossible not to. You just don't always remember your dreams. Any question as of yet?"
As Xandra started talking, Chibiusa quickly dug a notebook out of her bag and started to write, jotting down the important bits while trying to listen. Because of her past experiences she had considered herself a bit of an expert on dreams, but she obviously had a lot to learn. Being in this class reminded her of Elios - she quickly pushed the thought out of her mind so she could concentrate.
