Allen looks over to where Rukia points but doesn't miss the sudden change in her demeanor. He desperately wants to ask her what's wrong but doesn't because they only just recently became acquainted and he doesn't want to meddle.

He settles on keeping the smile on his face sincere and follows her into the building and up to the front counter.

He sees and smells all of the food and his stomach gurgles loudly enough that a few of the other students sitting nearby stare at him strangely before chuckling. He blushes and tries to decide what he wants to eat, though he does keep a worried eye on Rukia.

Allen drinks a glass of water to help rid him of his hiccoughs and looks out the window. It's dark out now, but the moon is bright enough to see by.

"Wow, it's gotten late," he comments. "I wonder what time it is? Maybe I should buy a watch and -- oh no! I need to buy catfood for Jasmine!" He smacks his forehead with a hand lightly and then proceeds to cover a yawn with it.

He's been busy all day and barely had a chance to unpack since arriving. As it was, he had only managed to toss his suitcase onto his bed and place Jasmine gently on the floor before his curiousity got the better of him and he went exploring.

"Order some fish for the cat and take it with you." Rukia stood and tossed some currency on the table before giving Allen a small smile. "You look tired, you should head back to the dorm. I'll... see you later, Allen-san." She made her way to leave slowly, pulling her purse over her shoulder and placing her hat on her head. "It was nice meeting you." She said before she left the building.

He blinks at her appreciatively, "That's a wonderful idea! Thank you! It was very nice meeting you as well, Miss Rukia."

Allen pulls some wadded up bills out of his pocket and goes up to the cash to order some fish to take back with him to Jasmine. He tugs his blazer more tightly around him and walks out of the building. He sees Rukia's retreating figure in the distance and waves at it once before turning the way opposite of her, and, coincidentally, opposite of his dorm room.
