From what he knew about Gray it wasn't all too shocking to see him shirtless. To see him outside, sleeping, when it was this warm out? That was a little more unexpected. Sasuke cracked his knuckles as he headed back to the dorm, pausing when he caught sight of the unconscious figure. It took him only a few seconds to decide what to do.

"Oi." Normally getting flicked in the head was just annoying. When a ninja was flicking you in the head, however, with a finger that was laced with chakra to make the hit more powerful? It could really sting.

Gray was used to getting woken up and pushed around by Natsu and some of the others from the guild. All in all, Fairy Tail was good at annoying each other even though the members were close enough to be family. Unfortunately Gray had also been trained to react right away to some unknown touch. Badd things could happen if you let you guard down.

When Sasuke's finger connected with Gray's forehead, the mage reacted automatically. He rolled to his knees and snapped a hand out, fingers aiming to tighten around Sasuke's neck. He was too focused on the reaction to realize who he was reacting to.

It could've been bad, if Sasuke had underestimated Gray a little more. Luckily he knew enough to stay on his toes, and not only that but he himself was completely awake and alert. He darted a hand up to catch Gray's wrist, stopping his fingers just a few scant inches from his throat.

"... You shouldn't sleep out here. You could dehydrate easily."

He knew that voice. Gray glanced up and Sasuke and sighed heavily before relaxing his arm to let the other know he had no intention of doing anything violent. "Scare the shit out of me, why don't you," he grumbled. "I'm in the shade. There's nothing wrong with sleeping in the shade. It's nice."
