Frau glanced up when Yuugi walked in and announced himself. He swallowed hard before motioning the boy to join him. Frau returned his attention to the view, but couldn't help shifting the small package he had on his lap. Yuugi's present wasn't something Frau figured he'd really like, but it did have meaning behind it. With luck Yuugi would flip it open and notice what Frau had written on one of the pages. And, hopefully, the small paper he'd stuck inside to ensure the book would open to that page would work...

Frau sighed heavily and glanced up at Yuugi. Things were worse than he thought it seemed. He managed to give Yuugi a small smile though. "I know it's really late. Hell, really, really late, but here." He held the small rectangular present out to Yuugi. "Happy birthday. What with the insanity and being sick I sort of missed it."
