"Need a nap already?" Yamato asked teasingly, leaning over Koushirou from his place a couple steps up. "Either you didn't sleep well last night or you're turning into an old man before your time."

The blond straightened, trotting the rest of the way down the dorm room steps. He offered Koushirou a hand up once he reached the bottom. "Ready to go? There's some pretty interesting stuff here, and some of it's even newly rebuilt."

Koushirou made something of a face at his friend upside-down, before sitting all the way back up. He took the offered hand and got to his feet, nodding at Yamato's question before responded with one of his own. "Rebuilt?" He echoed, interested. "What happened?"

"A Balrog attacked the campus a couple weeks ago," Yamato informed. "Or at least, that's what I'm told - I spent the majority of the event trapped in the pub after it collapsed."

It was still a sore spot, too, just how useless he'd been to help out. He was pretty sure he'd gotten better at hiding it, though; he'd toned down the cleaning sprees quite a bit and hadn't been cooking much more than usual, either (even if the difficulty level of his menus had jumped quite a bit). Taichi hadn't said anything, anyway, which was a good enough sign as far as Yamato was concerned.

"It destroyed half the library and parts of the Humanities building, too. And the park... well, the park still needs some work, but it's not a total mess anymore."

"...A Balrog? From the Lord of the Rings?" Koushirou asked, sounding disbelieving; it wasn't that he was doubting Yamato, and it wasn't as though A Balrog suddenly appearing would be the weirdest thing that had ever happened, but still. He promptly forgot about that, however, at the next statement. "Are you alright?" Yamato looked okay, but Koushirou had to ask; getting caught in a collapsed building was cause for concern.

"How did everyone get rid of it? And how did it get here?" And that may be just a hint of disappointment and not getting to see it showing in his voice. It would have been fascinating.
