Teito turned, giving Yuugi a welcoming half-smile. On his shoulder, Burupya "Pyaa"-d a cheery good morning.

"Morning, Yuugi-san," he unknowingly echoed the dragon. "Ready to run?"

Teito was. The last time he'd ran for simple training purposes had been on Castor-san's zaiphon track with all those horrible Frau dolls - this morning was looking to be much more pleasant than that.

Teito blinked, glancing over at Burupya.

"Who, Mikage? Yeah, he's coming," he confirmed, petting the dragon on the head fondly. Burupya made another happy sound, and Teito waved Yuugi over to a better spot for stretching. "Probably won't run, though. C'mon, let's warm up and get started. We've got a lot of ground to cover. What I figure we'll do is start out going northeast, past the pub. We'll head across the docks, up the other side, then past the math and sciences building to cut up the middle of the park. Then we'll just go through the courtyard and amphitheater, around the dorms, and up past the cafeteria to finish right back here. If we get the timing right, we should get back sometime between the start of breakfast and the middle."
