Goku grinned and added another snowball to the stockpile he was building behind his barricade. All he needed was for the rest of his team to show up - and a ( Read more... )

Hakkai had heard what Goku was planning on campus and had figured he might as well join in. It would certainly be fun. However, Hakkai wasn't going to just give himself away for Goku to hit. The youkai certainly wasn't beyond being a bit underhanded. He'd given Goku no warning that he was going to show up and play, which worked perfectly well in the given situation.

Hakkai as hidden around the corner of a nearby building, snowball in hand. He sent it flying towards Goku's back and then bolted towards another building hid out so he wouldn't be in the same location the snowball had come from. He couldn't wait to see Goku's face!

Goku squawked indignantly as a burst of cold exploded against his back, nearly falling face-first into snow (and snowballs) in front of him. He righted himself in a rush and turned to press his back against his snow-barrier. Armed with a snowball in each hand, he searched the area the attack had come from suspiciously.

Nothing. Dammit. Goku hunkered further into his fort, reducing his chances of getting hit drastically, and set about locating his attacker.

Hakkai grinned and somehow managed to keep from laughing. Round one was complete, now to begin round two. He packed another snowball together and then waited until Goku's focus was away from him before lobbing the snowball in a high arc. Thankfully, and unfortunately for Goku, Hakkai had talent and good aim. The snowball reached the peak of its path and started falling down towards Goku. Once again Hakkai retreated farther behind the building and slipped away to find a new hiding spot.

Goku bit on a yelp and shook the snow from his hair. He glared at nothing in particular and continued his search and - there! Brown hair! Bingo. Hiding a victorious grin, Goku kept looking around like he didn't know where the snowballs were coming from, keeping the bit of brown hair in the corner of his eye. He'd get 'em when they went to throw the next volley.

Ramza wandered around the Quad, wondering what exactly Goku had in mind with his post. Did the boy mean to host a winter campaign? Always one to appreciate the advantage of training in adverse conditions, the knight had quickly dressed in warm winter clothes and hurried out to see what was happening.

Spying the two men flinging snow at each other, Ramza paused to laugh. Child's play...but it did look rather fun like a decent training exorcise. He looked around for high ground and waited for an opportune moment to spring his attack.

Hakkai was out of luck on this one - if there was one thing Goku was good at, it was fighting (and snowball fights apparently counted). Not to mention how much time he spent around Sanzo.

The monkey's snowball flew long and true, exploding against the back of Hakkai's shoulder with a solid thump just as he turned around. Goku whooped in triumph, taking Hakkai's third volley with a grin - it was a necessary sacrifice to get in a hit of his own, and so worth it

"I got ya, Hakkai!" Goku hollered cheerfully. Golden eyes glittering in sheer joy, he prepared for the next attack, spotting a blond boy as he looked around. He waved the boy over excitedly. "C'mon, over here! Hurry, b'fore 'Kai gets you!"

Hamel stood to the side watching the beginnings of a snowball fight curiously. He admittedly had practice as a child getting things thrown at him, but usually they weren't soft. And generally chains and dragging was involved, sometimes a few pitchforks. This looked a lot more fun. He didn't have much basis for comparison though.

He leaned down and started rolling a snowball together. And kept rolling and rolling. Until he had something roughly the size of a bowling ball. It took a lot of effort to lift it and Oboe fluttered from his shoulder looking for a place to hide where that thing wouldn't end up finding HIM. Hamel shouted curiously across to Goku. "We just throw?"

Goku looked in the direction of the call, nearly falling over when he saw the size of Hamel's "snowball." It was more suited to a giant snowman than a snowball fight, really, but...

"Just don't aim at our team and you're good!" Goku yelled back, giving the musician a grin and a thumbs up. "Hit anyone else you wanna!"
