HALLOWEEN EVENT // The Courtyard

The courtyard in front of the Administrative Building and the library now features a very sharp (and fully functional) guillotine that seems to have seen quite its share of use. The fountain, once feeding forth a rain of clean water, now seems to be showering a glowing green goop that's hiding who-knows-what in the depths of the fountain basin. (On

This night had been strange indeed. The campus was covered in fog and there were even more odd individuals on the campus, but as far as he could tell, none of them were dangerous, although it varied on how they reacted to you . He was on his guard nonetheless...

Kazuki already had an invisible barrier set up around him just in case considering he wasn't certain how the other would handle this situation. There wouldn't be much he'd be able to do in this instance himself besides watch and make sure no one else who may be nearby got hurt.

The small explosion when the chi ball hit the guillotine made Hakkai nod. It had to have done something... but no. When the smoke cleared Hakkai was disappointed to see that there wasn't even a scratch on the large weapon. It was almost like it had been touched with a toothpick instead of a powerful weapon. Hakkai sighed. "Well, that was rather ineffective."

Kazuki looked up at the device, then glanced around "Something tells me it has to do with this whole set up and that until the night's over with, these things are here to stay, so I guess we'll just have to keep an eye out for the others and make sure they're careful around them"

"You have a point. I don't think this place would be very appreciative if we started taking down its decorations." Just because it was true didn't mean Hakkai liked it.

"We'll just have to be careful then...," Kazuki said, feeling rather uneasy about the situation.
