Teito looked around curiously, itching to explore this place - this 'University' - a little more. He'd never seen anywhere like it. It wasn't like the Church in District Seven, or the Academy, or even like any of the cities he'd seen after leaving the church. He stayed where he was, though, waiting right out in front of the pub so that Frau could find him. Not that he didn't look around from where he stood...

Teito paused and turned, thinking he'd heard his name. Sure enough, it was Frau. The brunet lit up at the sight of the man and he hurried over, a smile tugging at his mouth.

"Frau!"

Frau hardly even gave Teito time to react. He strode purposefully towards the boy and immediately wrapped his arms around him, holding him close. "Teito..." He rested his face in Teito's hair, letting the few tears run without the boy seeing it. Frau finally let go of Teito and knelt down in front of him. "You don't look like you've gotten yourself into too much trouble, damn brat." It was said more affectionately than usual though...

Teito blinked once in surprise, then returned the hug tightly. He huffed at Frau's insinuation when the man knelt, but there was no real irritation behind it.

"It's only been an hour since I last saw you for me," he told Frau gently. "I don't attract that much trouble. I'm fine."

An hour. That was right. He hadn't seen Teito in over year, but for the kid it wouldn't have been that long at all. "I've left you for a minute and when I came back you were knee deep in it," Frau muttered in mild irritation when he ruffled Teito's hair. "Damn trouble magnet," he grumbled as he stood.
