Strange. It's dark. Very dark. And enclosed.

For a moment Frau thought that he'd woken up at home, back at the church, where he'd fallen asleep after a rather difficult battle as Zehel. It took the bishop a little while to realize this wasn't his coffin though he had to admit it was nice. Obviously the Undertaker had gotten a job. Perhaps Frau would have to ask for a real coffin for himself considering how rested he felt.

Very slowly the bishop pushed back the lid, one arm, the clothing barely dangling on it, inched over the edge of the coffin and hung there a moment swinging back and forth. Creepy? Oh yes.

"I'm fine," He grumbled as he steadied himself. "It's just the stupid magic drain of this place, that's all." He stared back down at the coffin, again considering getting a personalized one.

"Magic drain..." She echoed, thinking about that a moment. "It's supposed to be really tiring to use magic here, right?" Mana asked; it had been explained to her by Atem, but she'd quickly forgotten the details. It was always a little hard for her to use her magic, though not in that way. She also apparently hadn't done enough to get the effects, because the spells she used every so often hadn't caused it for her yet.

"More than you know," Frau muttered. Wasn't one minute of using Zehel a bit much?! Honestly, at least five minutes before he started feeling it... preferably ten. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I try to keep it to a minimum, but unfortunately there are a rather large number of idiots here who require heavy magic usage."

"I haven't felt it yet, but I heard it could be really bad if you overdo it." Mana said, holding her staff in both hands and rocking back and forth on her toes. She tilted her head slightly at his last comment. "Are... Are fights common here?"

"Yes," he stated. At least, they were for him. They seemed to be in never ending supply too. Not that Frau cared. It kept him amused. Without fights life would be boring. Besides, if there weren't any fights that would mean there was nobody to torment. Living hell right there.

"Oh." Mana said, not nearly so pleased by the idea as Frau was. She'd had enough fighting to last forever with the battle she'd taken part in two years earlier. "Oh, well... As long as they're for good reasons..." Surely they all didn't just go at each other for no reason, right?

"Sure they're for good reasons," Frau stated. "At least... most of them are. Dartz stealing souls was a good reason, but so is Atem being cocky and annoying. Both a good reasons for different reasons. Though I must admit, Atem's fights are much more fun. Dartz is more difficult. You need to be more focused. With Atem you can fool around a bit." And torment him of course. He was just so much fun to torment.

Mana listened, recognizing Dartz' name from the many warnings she'd gotten about him, and nodded slightly at the part about him. At the later parts though, she actually started getting annoyed. She stopped rocking back and forth, and she almost came close to a glare. "Hey! Don't talk about ouji like that! If he means to beat you, he does." She said with conviction, nodding once to punctuate her statement. Not that she really liked Atem's tendency to pick fights and then take them to extremes, but still.

Frau rolled his eyes. "Sorry, kiddo, but he's yet to win a fight against me. Typically I flatten him, though the time it takes to do so does range a little bit." He smirked. The one thing the scythe was actually good for. "Besides, he's just so easy to bait."

Luckily enough, Mana was a lot harder to incite to anger than their subject, but she had switched from worried to miffed pretty fast. "I don't believe you." She said, crossing her arms. "He wouldn't have sounded nearly as pleased with himself if you'd beaten him! Besides, it's not possible, anyway!" She had never seen Atem lose a fight, after all, and she looked up to him so much that it was impossible for her not to take his side in just about everything. Still, the last comment of Frau's was kind of true, and so she didn't respond to it.

Frau shrugged. "Whatever you say, Fangirl, whatever you say. He certainly pulled that blue mage back pretty fast when the scythe came out though. Good thing he did too. It certainly cut through the red dragon easily enough." Frau was being a bit cocky, but when was he not if it could aggravate someone?

Huh? Fangirl? Was that a girl that held fans? There'd been some in the palace a few times, but she wasn't one of them! She was a priestess, thank you very much even if she wasn't a very good one. "From what I heard, you had to have help, so you don't have any reason to brag." Mana said, almost pouting now.

"You mean Undertaker? He just butted in. I've won against Atem before without out... and really, Undertaker was the one that got hit by lightning. I was the one that slashed that dragon in two. Osiris I think he called it." Frau shrugged. He wasn't going to let her demean him without fighting it.

"I don't believe you." Mana stated, arms still crossed, still pouting. "You were the one in the coffin days later!" She pointed out, before adding, "And he can lose Osiris without losing a fight." Mana was more than a bit of a fangirl, not that she had any idea what the term meant.

"Magic drain. I can't go more than a minute or so all out before I end up unconscious for awhile afterward." He shrugged. "No, true, but he did lose. Or at least he gave up, which is enough of a loss if you ask me."
