Linali had had an absolute blast getting ready for Rhyme-chan to come over: she'd laid out her stiff construction paper along with markers, glitter, and colored pencils, brought out her knitting needles and the slippers she'd been working on, and turned up the heat a bit, making sure it was nice and warm for her guests. In lieu of her usual coffee, she made some hot chocolate and smiled at the setup.

When Rhyme knocked, Linali opened the door with a smile. "Hey Rhyme-chan," she said sweetly, moving aside so the little girl could come in. "Ready to make some Christmas cards?"

Ah Christmas-time. When the little children are so happy and filled with joy. This time of year made no difference to Izumi. Considering his job, this time of year wasn't all that jolly. But still, people like Rhyme and Linali were happy, so that was a good thing at least.

He hadn't celebrated Christmas for a long time, so the Shinigami was a little unprepared for making Christmas cards. Hopefully that wouldn't matter to the two girls. Standing in front of Linali's door, Izumi knocked ever so musically.

[[OOC:Sorry guys, I'm out for the night. Go on without me.]]

"Yes, of course!" Rhyme rushed in, but not until after giving Linali a quick hug around Linali's waist. "Thank you for inviting me, Linali! This will be so much fun! I brought us some materials too and candy canes, if you like them!"

By the time she'd placed the bag down and closed the door, she heard a light knock on the door and beamed, her eyes bright as she rushed over to the door. "Izumi! Hi! Thank you for coming!" She felt so warm and happy today, giving hugs everywhere, but she found herself wrapping her arms around Izumi's middle quickly. She wasn't sure how felt about hugs even though she knew that he hadn't had the best luck with Gir and his hugs. Maybe that was just the cyborg, though?

"Are you ready to make some Christmas cards?" She asked as she moved to Linali's side again, the smile on her lips never ceasing. "Linali, your room looks so perfect! It's so cozy here! Thank you for inviting us!"

Linali wrapped her arms around Rhyme with a smile; she was absolutely adorable. "I love candy canes! Thanks, Rhyme-chan," she exclaimed, watching her examine everything. Linali turned to the door at Izumi's knock, watching the little girl run to open it and give him a swift hug as well. Poor thing; she must really miss her brother...

"Hey, Izumi," she said sweetly, giving him a smile. "Thanks for dropping by." When Rhyme moved back beside her, she put an arm around the girl's shoulders, a bit flushed and happy. "Thank you. I tried to think of things you might want to use, so I hope there isn't anything missing. We don't have markers in 1892, and I've never made Christmas cards, but I think we'll be okay. Oh, and there's hot chocolate if either of you would like some."
