Kaiba was about to try and pull Yozak to a halt again, but thankfully did not have to as the redhead finally slowed. As he was then led (which he also did not appreciate) towards the clothing, he again tried to wriggle his hand away from Yozak's. That girl and Atem were already around and things were bad enough like this... Holding hands was the LAST thing he wanted to be seen doing.
Staring at the clothes and pouting irately, he stamped one foot a bit before snapping back, "NO. We did NOT get lucky."
Looking behind her, Linali saw Atem out of harm's way, so with a mischievous grin she entered the bookstore. Yozak probably would have headed straight for the children's section, so Linali headed there, catching sight of his vibrant red hair. "You guys," she said, shaking her head and laughing. Them kicking Grell had been funny, but exposing Atem's tail had been absolutely hilarious. Looking around, Linali wondered how long it was going to take her boyfriend - she paused at that thought, blushing - to catch up to them.
To say Atem was not amused was an understatement. By the time he entered the bookstore, his arms were crossed, his eyes were narrowed, ears were nearly flat back against his head, and his tail was lashing irritably. He looked pretty funny, really, and not all that different from usual.
He also correctly deduced that they would be in the children's section, not that it took any real feat of intelligence to guess that, and headed that way. He finally spotted the group, and still pouting a bit, stepped up next to Linali.
Yozak looked at Kaiba in a bit of a bored pout. He raised an eyebrow before asking: "So you would rather be a pig or a pup right now?"
When Linali showed up, Yozak's pout didn't go away. In fact, he looked a little worried. Putting on the best smile he could though, Yozak turned to Linali and Atem. "Uh..." He was speechless, regretting bringing them along now. Yozak had seen the red holiday outfits, and he prayed Linali would look right over them.
