Who: Kairi, Namine When: The day after Kairi arrives Where: The Bookstore What: The girls go on a little shopping trip Rating: G for right now( All girls just wanna have fun )
The contact from Kairi had been a little strange. Well, not so much strange as it was unexpected. However, it was kinda a welcomed relief. After mainly hanging out with Axel and Roxas for the past few weeks, Namine really needed a "girl's day out."
It was even better that it was Kairi, considering they got along so well. What would you expect, they are the same in a sense. At least Namine has gotten over her small alienation to the whole Kairi's here situation, thanks to her conversation with Roxas.
The blonde Nobody walked through the doors into the bookstore. It really was a large building, considering it was literally one-stop shopping. However, it didn't take long to spot Kairi. Unintentionally sneaking up on her Other, Namine planed her hand on Kairi's shoulder. "I hope you didn't wait long."
Feeling something on her shoulder caused her to jump, but only a little. Kairi turns around to see it was her Nobody, Namine. She let's out a small sigh of relief. "I wasn't expecting that!" she laughed. "I just got here only moments ago. Didn't wait long at all."
Most people would think it'd be weird talking to someone who is basically "you," but not Kairi. Namine was more of a sisterly figure to her than anything else and loved having her around. It felt good having another girl to talk to.
"I didn't expect this place to be so... big! It has more items and floors than anything I've ever seen." Since Sora went away for a year, Kairi developed a taste for shopping from hanging around Selphie on an almost daily basis. She was, however, going to pace herself so she wouldn't max out her credits for the month.
Namine, feeling -well not really feeling- embarrassment, immediately withdrew her hand. It wasn't her intention to startle her Other, but she did and now had to deal with it. "I'm sorry. I swear I didn't mean to startle you."
The quick topic change helped the Nobody out.
Shopping wasn't something Namine was experienced at. In fact, her trip before the Halloween Ball was really the first time Namine's ever been out like that. Before, between Castle Oblivion, Twilight Town, and The World that Never Was, Namine never really had time to experience what normal people experience. Thankfully Grell and Sora were a great help. This time, however, it was Kairi.
"There's nothing I really need to get right now. Is there anything you're looking for?"
Kairi just smiled and shook her head as if she were saying, 'Don't worry about it.'
"Hmmm..." Kairi was trying to figure out which section they should start in first. There were so many options and floors... like clothing, cosmetics, jewelry, shoes, entertainment, books... so many options that they would be able to check them all out in just one day.
"We could check out the clothing section. I could use a new outfit or two since I don't have much right now. And maybe see what kind of music they have avaliable."
