In her time at this university, Nao hadn't been nearly as social as she would have normally. This was due to the fact that she was still adjusting to not having Sota to hang off of at every moment; her security blanket was gone. It was strange how the loss of one person made everything else all the more difficult to handle. Even she hadn't been aware at how heavily she relied on him until she'd arrived here, without him ( ... )

He wasn't sure how much he was liking that nickname, but didn't comment on it. Truly, he wasn't all that fond of his first name in the first place. Still, he smiled politely at it because he didn't think it was something to waste time getting mad about. It was sort-of cute, he thought. Of course if she called him that when anyone else was around, people might have thought they were something more than friends--err. His face felt warm at that idea, especially seeing the way she looked. She definitely had that Shibuya-style going on--she was thin and tan with lush blonde locks; she was definitely the kind of girl that, in high school...

Would've been considered hot. How did he feel about her...? She was definitely pretty, yeah. She probably wasn't his type much but why was he thinking about that anyways! It wasn't like she was going to like him that way or anything--she had someone back home and Ryou honestly felt as if the last thing on earth he'd ever do was date; especially someone from this bizarre place. "Hey," He ( ... )

Immediately, Nao's eyes scanned her new friend's appearance and she squealed almost instantly, "You're so cute!" Her tanned fingers went to his hair, running through the silver locks. "This is such an interesting color," she commented. It was almost pure white -- that couldn't be natural, could it? Judging from his eyebrows, it was.

Had she been able to read his mind, Nao probably would have ended up giggling. Relationships, while a sore topic with her lately, also tended to make her giddy -- she was the type of girl who was quick to gossip about who liked who and who was breaking up with who. There was something fun about focusing on the trivial, fun things in life, instead of letting herself get bogged down with serious things ( ... )

...That was the second time Ryou had heard that this far, and it wasn't getting any easier dealing with it. His initial response was to blush profusely and excuse himself to the bathroom until his face stopped resembling a tomato. That would've been strange though, and he was trying so hard not to seem weird in front of this new possible friend. His mouth dropped as her hand shot for his hair. He wasn't touched often so it was quite a surprise. The girls here sure seemed to be friendly--that was for sure. "H-Heh," He laughed nervously, wishing he could be any other guy right now who'd be able to cope with this and say the funniest things to impress this girl.

...Hell, not even to just impress her, but to keep himself from looking so dumb. "Do...people not have this color naturally where you come from?" It seemed strange for that to be possible since where he lived, pretty much anything went as far as hair styles were concerned. It was definitely different having a girl squeal about his hair. To him, it was rather ordinary ( ... )
