"Linali!" Miranda's voice cut through the cool air as she hurried over to her fellow Exorcist. As usual, the woman was dressed in a warmer-than-necessary fashion, her black Exorcist coat (from the uniforms Linali had not yet known) buttoned tightly over her dark shirt and pants. Her wavy hair hung loosely about her face, having fallen from its low ponytail as the woman ran.

She finally approached Linali, pausing for a moment to catch her breath before clasping one of the girl's hands apologetically and glancing around. "I-I'm very sorry! Am I late? H-has everyone already gone?"

Linali took Miranda's arm with a smile. Turning back to Risa, she offered her the same. "Don't worry, Risa-chan. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding. It'll work out soon. But in the meantime, can we try to cheer you up?" She put her free hand on her arm. "You know how much of a novice I am at shopping, and Mai needs an equal." She let her go with a wink.

Riku was very appreciative for her friends. They were doing a much better job at cheering Risa up than she could ever hope to do. It was one thing to hear this from her twin sister but quite another to hear it from multiple friends.

Risa took Linali's hand and sighed, nodding. "I..I'm a pretty good shopper..."

Haruhi was unsympathetic to the other girl--Risa. She hadn't seen her before but she was certainly cute! Right now, she was too upset about being taken off of her prey Miranda to think of anything else. "But I want to do it now!" She grabbed for Miranda, groaning. She hated to wait for anything, especially when it was something she was excited about!

...And she was excited by pretty much everything here. When she decided Mai really was not going to let her go, she slumped. "Fine, fine, I'll be good!" She really wouldn't, but she'd at least wait for Mai's back to be turned before she struck again.

Besides, there was the shopping to think about! And Haruhi just loved to shop--for other people; it was fun doing anything where her loud mouth got to have a say.

Miranda flashed Linali a light smile along with a nod. "A-all right. I'm not sure how well I can do this, but I'll try my best." She promised, doing her best to stay optimistic about the whole situation. As long as she wasn't forced into anything skimpy or strange, things should be fine. But... With Haruhi around, that might be a hard safety to guarantee...

Mai rolled her eyes and let go of Haruhi, putting her hand back on her hip. "Be good." She told her, raising an eyebrow and giving her a warning look.

She smiled at Risa. "Linali's right! I can't manage everyone on this trip; I'll need your help here." She said, taking a few steps over to her and putting a hand on her shoulder. "So let's get on it!"

She glanced back at Miranda. "You'll do fine, hon! Swimsuit shopping went well after all, remember?"

Risa gave a nod, a small smile on her lips. "All right...I can help think of costumes for everyone else." She already had a costume idea. She thought of maybe trying to find a pair of white angel wings and a halo, but she would worry about that later.

"What do you want to be for Halloween, everyone?"

Giving Risa's hand a small squeeze, Linali was glad to see her smile, if only a little bit. Moving with the other girls towards the bookstore, she pondered her question. "Well, I cheated and looked with Fuji a while back... There's an angel costume I really really like, but there's a gypsy costume that's really cute too."

Riku watched Linali with a smile, happy to see her embrace her sister and treat her well. All of the girls here were so nice and supportive.

"Oh, a gypsy could be fun! I think you'd look great as any of these costumes, Linali. I have no idea what I want to be."
