Then this man had yet to look not so suspicious with one.

He had just happened to peer out one of the windows to see the red-haired man dragging along some coffin--with his sight, it would not be hard to see such a spectacle. At least, that was what he called it at such a dull and boring place like this where it appeared nothing exciting did not happen without severe consequences that he decided at the time were not worth experiencing. Not until the blond was in the mood for causing some real trouble.

Yuber was already outside, being bored enough that his level of curiosity in anything strange going on having been risen to record high--he normally kept his nose out of other people's business but decided it was his business as well.

He wondered if that human could actually provide some entertainment.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

Cross stopped testing the area, frown on his face. The red head turned, Maria already taking her position behind him, back faced.

"Nothing of consequence."

The black knight arched an eyebrow at the red-haired man's answer, although it was not like the answer itself was not unexpected. However, he felt it was too early just to turn around and walk away--he could always try and pester the man into telling him.

"Oh really now? Are you sure about that? I'm sure you won't have any regrets letting me know what you're doing--in such a boring place like this it looks like something worth watching."

Cross shrugged his shoulders haughtily; a pathetic response, but it was what he cared enough to tell him. If the guy got irritable, he'd have Maria move him somewhere further away, until then, the red head decided to lie more.

"Practicing dancing; a gentleman has to know such a thing, do you not think?"

Linali's eyes snapped open and she sat up straight in bed. She hadn't felt this strange feeling in a while; the invocation of someone else's Innocence. She slipped out of bed silently, pulling on her Dark Boots before heading to the roof. When she reached the door, she opened it carefully, not making a sound.

Up on the roof, her short nightdress billowed around her as she scanned the quad. In the distance she could make out the shape of the General, Maria beside him and the strange new man nearby.

"Dark Boots," she whispered softly, feeling that familiar heavy sensation in her legs as they activated. She jumped from the roof, floating gracefully across the sky towards the quad.

Cross looked upwards, ignoring the other man that was currently with him. It had slightly troubled him that Linali was from a different time period in their own world than he was. Timcampy rested on his head, fluttering his wings, as if to confirm her arrival.

Landing softly in front of the General, Linali brushed her loose hair away from her face and looked up at him. "General Cross... What are you doing out so late?" She could feel the ill-intent from the man at her back, so she kept her Dark Boots as they were.

The moonlight seemed to calm him down a little, oddly. The redhead was lounging on the grass, his trusty guitar laying on his lap. This place was odd...and he really didn’t care much about what was going on, barely even regarding the warning that one of the students had put out. Not his problem, he was distant enough from the others to not have to worry about running into the ‘problem child’ of the school. He didn’t even feel like going to the party that was supposed to happen sometime during that week; he had enough trouble with the others around that he didn’t want social interaction from them for a while.

A flash of vibrant red behind the General caught Linali's eye. She stared, looking closely, and realized it was another student. She put her hand on the General's arm silently, suddenly getting a chill despite how warm it was. Her little nightdress blew with the wind, and she suddenly wished she'd changed.
