Demyx, when he arrived, was still wearing his trademark Organization coat despite the way the days were steadily growing warmer. He'd found clothes in the closet of his dorm room that he assumed were for him, but he still didn't really feel comfortable unless he was wearing the coat on top. After wearing it for so many years, going without it felt . . . weird, even though he wasn't a member of the Organization any more ( ... )

She had expected Demyx to be nice ever since they'd spoken about the talent show he was planning, and if Risa could make friends out of all the people in this university, she would do so happily. She smiled over at Demyx, noticing his jacket and thinking that it was probably just a personal fashion statement. Waving back over at him, she moved to meet him halfway. "Hello!"

He seemed genuine, and that was becoming harder and harder for Risa to find in her friends that were boys, especially ever since she'd met that horrible Rufus. Checking his jacket again, she wondered idly if he was hot with it on, but then changed her mind since he was wearing it and if he was uncomfortable, he would probably just take his jacket off.

"So, are you ready to try some sushi? It's really delicious, I promise, but if you don't like it we can get ice cream after!" There was just something about Demyx that made Risa smile. He seemed cheery and anyone with a happy disposition tended to be contagious with their mood.

The former Reikai Tantei stretched as he sat down, scratching the bridge of his nose. He was dressed casually with blue jeans, sneakers, a white t-shirt, and a blue jacket.

This place was strange, that much was sure. Plus the fact that the students had to teach as well as learn...Kurama would've been better to come than himself. Then again, there was no way this could be a mission of any sort, he had already been "dishonorably discharged" after the Chapter Black incident. A low chuckle escaped Yuusuke's lips at the thought. They really screwed up there...

Risa has been in the middle of trying to explain sushi to Demyx when she noticed someone across the way. He looked lonely, or at least alone, and wondered if they should invite him to go with them. She brushed a piece of hair back behind her ear and turned to look at Demyx with innocent, brown eyes.

"Hey, Demyx? Do you think that man would like to come with us? He looks lonely...I don't know him, but wouldn't it be nice if he had some friends here too?" She would hate the feeling of being all alone here. She was lucky to have her sister, her friend, and the man she loved here but she knew that not everyone was as lucky as she was.

Demyx glanced over at the guy in the corner, and shrugged at Risa with an I'm-game-if-you-are smile. "Uh, sure!"

Whether it was a vice or a virtue (he knew some people who would definitely consider it an annoyance, at least), Demyx was never against hitting up perfect strangers for conversation. Plus, if he didn't like the sushi, maybe the other guy would eat it. No point in wasting food.

Then he took another look.

"Y'know, I think I met him already," Demyx exclaimed, looking thoughtful. "While I was asking about the talent show. Yuu-something."

"Really? Well, then maybe he'll want to go with us even more?" Risa smiled, making her way bravely over to this complete stranger. She bowed gently, her hands folded in front of her lap, and smiled. "Hello there! I'm Risa and and this is Demyx. We were wondering if you would like to join us to eat sushi? Demyx hasn't ever tried sushi and I think that somewhat of a crime."

She smiled at him, bright brown eyes sparkling with an immediate trust for friendship. It was something that not many people had nowadays, but something that Risa was willing to give to everyone. Everyone at least deserved a shot, right?

Yuusuke turned his head as the girl walked up to him, sensing movement out of the corner of his eyes. Sometimes it was odd how his fighting instinct would kick in even if he wasn't really fighting. "Sushi?" He snickered. Wow, these two were definitely friendly... "Sure, why not."

Risa smiled over at him and lifted up out of her bow. "What's your name?" She asked, turning to stand between Demyx and where Yuusuke would probably stand. "Are you new here? We haven't seen you around lately...not that I'm looking for new people." She said with a smile, sparkling with a friendly air.

"M'name? Urameshi Yuusuke." He stood himself, smirking slightly as he nodded, hands in his pockets. "Yeah, just arrived a few days ago. S'no big deal. Although I'm kinda surprised that my friends didn't show up too, they usually end up getting dragged into whatever I get into." What he didn't add was that usually involved saving the world in some way.

Demyx trailed after Risa. "Apparently not eating raw fish is illegal in some places!" he said, raising a hand in greeting. His voice was cheerful, and it was difficult to tell if he was joking or not. "And yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if your friends show up. I think the headmistress is kinda tricky like that. You're the guy who's going to blow stuff up at the talent show, right?"

"Oooh, you're going to be in the talent show? How awesome! I'm the announcer for the talent show! I'm still trying to drag my sister into joining me to be a co-announcer, but I doubt she will."

Risa looked over from Yuusuke to Demyx and back again. "Demyx is probably right. I wouldn't be surprised if one or more of your friends start to show up here soon."

"More or less." Yuusuke smirked at that. He had already decided to give a demo on reiki control, but this was going to be more coordinated. Hopefully his infinitely lucky streak would come in handy at this point. "Heh, yeah, I kinda hope they do show up, things will get interesting, fast." Mostly because of the fact that he was sure that Kurama and Kuwabara would be bothered like hell...turns out that his best friend had turned into some sort of a stud while he was gone at the Makai.

Risa tilted her head. "So what is it that you're going to do? Are you going to blow things up..with your mind? That would be so cool!"

Smiling again, she started their new trek to the cafe to see if sushi was on their menu for today. "Well, I'm sorry your friends aren't here now but you can spend time with me and Demyx if you'd like. Well, me, since I don't want to say Demyx unless he's free to spend more time hanging out."
