I've always been into those "breakthrough" sounds before they actually broke through. In the 70s and early 80s, I was into the mod stuff. From The Jam and The Clash to Joe Jackson and the B52s and all (at the time) obscure bands in between. I loooooooooooved Grunge. I still do. I think it will forever remain my favorite "genre." There's just something so real about it that today's pseudo-folk just isn't touching. I do like some of today's music, but it tends to be WAY underground without any intention of seeing the light of day.
