1. I have disabled IP logging for all the accounts I have control over. Creepy, invasive feature is creepy and invasive.

2. Is anyone going to the Discworld con in Madison? I want to go, but I'd rather know that I'll see someone (anyone) that I already know.

I was thinking that if Sir Terry had met one of his more memorable characters, your headline would never be so casual. But my brain had an "OMGWTF!?!?" instant before I correctly parsed the headline.

It would be worth traveling to the Discworld con just to see him. I met him, years ago, not that he'd remember. I was in a group that had dinner with him, and I nearly disgrace myself when he ordered a banana daiquiri.

Yeah. LJ lets you log IPs for people who comment on your journal. Yesterday, it was showing location as well as the IP address, so I turned off the feature.

I honestly don't know. Soon? I haven't decided yet, either.

I can spring for a hotel room for the weekend. I just don't want to go alone.
