Sifted through this and reposted just the DVD details to my journal (with thanks to you for pointing out the article, natch). :)

It's a nice review - lots of details. Good stuff.

Hopefully I'll have something better to post in a week. Hopefully.

Oooooh. Just wish the sets weren't so damn expensive. First two I found used for about half. Third season I splurged on, but had a $50 gift certificate to use up. Maybe it's a good thing to have a birthday so close to Christmas sometimes. :)

Well, in their defense, it's six disks. But yeah, the retail price is a bit scary. I'm guessing that after the quarterly profits came out for Best Buy and others today, prices might drop in time for Christmas or very soon after...will have to see.

Okay, that's weird. I just tried the site, and all I get (even if I dig down to the root URL) is a blank page. I guess I'll try again tomorrow.

I hope I can convince someone to get a bunch of people together to buy me this set, as we can't afford anything at all this Christmas. I still don't have any of the DVD sets, and it breaks my heart. (Luckily I have series 1, 2, and 4 on the computer, along with the original Confidentials -- but series 3 was eaten on an external hard drive. ::cry::) This is why I've never seen any of the extras from the DVDs.

I'm clicking on the link without difficulty - the page does take a few seconds to load.

Oh noes - your Series 3 was eaten? Not that it was that great, but still... eaten? That's no good. Shoot me an email and I'll see if I can help you out.

I get a DVD set every Christmas -- the one gift Ken doesn't need to ask about :).

Freakily, I haven't actually watched any of the extras at all yet -- I've been saving them for a rainy day. Or a nine-month drought of new material. Whichever comes first.

You had me worried for a second there - I saw 'nine-month' and sort of went off the deep end. *grins*

I'm thinking Easter-Christmas next year... you thinking of something else? :P
