I thought paid accounts got 30 userpics (plus loyalty, although I don't recall your journal being all that eld)?

I don't have a paid account - I snuck in this fic journal before ad-free wasn't an option any longer, so I think I'm limited to 6 icons without ads. I find ads incredibly annoying and really do not want them around just to get more userpics.

And why has this entry suddenly gone really wonky? o_0

Man, I can't decide. They're both great... hrm. If I had to choose, prolly the second one, as it seems a bit colder/frostier.

Here's a slightly different version which combines the two effects... if you wanted a slightly chunkier edge to the fade.

Mmmmm... I think I still prefer the second as above - it's almost as though you're looking through a freezing mist, or are getting condensation around the edges of a glass surface with a drop in temperature that I'm just not feeling as much with the irregular surface of the first or this banner. This is from the same person who says the environment isn't going to be that much of a factor in the fic! *laughs*

I did cruise through some of the style options to check them out, and while this one is better, it's still cutting off the right edges of the pictures, even in the main part of the post (ie not the comments). I'm wondering if it might improve if I get rid of the left navigation bar entirely (which I'd rather like to keep, but don't have to). I'll mess with it a little more tomorrow.
