I'm wondering if they come back, only to die at the end to cause wangst to the Doctor...I can't think of a special or season ender that didn't end with gratuitous wangst. :(

It's not listed yet at Amazon US.... but yeah, don't buy the specials individually.

Hmm. That would fit with the one scene about which I know any detail in the corresponding episode, at least if I'm interpreting the phrase correctly.

I think that particular title is being used mainly as it's something that's very much associated with Ten, but who knows.
