Hello from the windy city! The hubby and I have been here since Tuesday morning (after a disastrous trip to the motherland to drop off the girly-girls in which a tire blew out on a very busy interstate and added about three extra hours to the 8-hour trip - yurgh), and the conference is in full swing. We had dinner with friends at Topo Gigio

Was wondering how the trip was going, when I heard about the tornado warnings on Monday...

It must've been pretty bad, as we were delayed getting in on Tuesday as they were still playing catch-up with the flights at O'Hare.

I saw part of it during a baseball game broadcast...looked to be pretty bad, although it doesn't take much to gum up O'Hare...

The locals say that some places just got their power back on last night. Sheesh!

Sounds like an amazing trip. You've either got inexhaustible energy or you must be stuffed (I suspect the former). Yours is a totally different world - now I know that even jetsetters enjoy smut!

Heh. I'm not a jetsetter or stuffed (*checks carefully*), but I'm not happy unless I'm doing ten zillion things at once. Off to get ready for black tie par-tay now....
