Hmm strange but when I read it I had the sense that he was being very sincere and optimistic about the band and didn't detect a marketing twist!
Anyway thank you once again for the translations ^_^ You shall be appointed the resident Garu translator!
Have to agree wholeheartedly that they are maximizing the strength of every member with this new line up. There is so much going on in each piece that to analyze it technically could rival an analysis of Beethoven's Symphonies.
Interesting that he says how music genres aren't necessary.I guess that is true nowadays with the more fluid boundaries between different styles of music and all. So Garu!! Please incorporate Korean elements!!!
Haha maybe its just me who feels that he was a little idealistic!
I also agree that this lineup is the most technical to date, and I hope they don't change any more. And their songs are easier to listen to as well!
I thought the whole "music genres are not necessary" is a pretty common phrase used by a lot of bands/ managers though. Perhaps that's why i thought it was a marketing thing. So many bands are keen to establish that they are beyond genre though they certainly tend towards a genre more than others XD But yes! Korean elements! Just no group dancing please lol XD
Oh my... thank you. It's so funny! “if it’s not metal, it’s not music” - I really love him.
But why he said "I was pleasantly surprised at Taka's sense of bass groove"? It sounds like "He was a good bassist earlier but no more. I wasn't expected much from him".
Thank you for the comment =D Hmm about his expectations of Taka, I think that he thought Taka won't be able to do much at first, especially considering that he didn't have much background in the music industry before joining Galneryus. But Taka seemed to have proven him wrong XD Haha.. taka's a good bassist!
And I like Kizuna a lot as a song! But the PV... I don't know if I like the PV. Seems very cliche to me (but maybe that's because I don't understand Hokotou no ken because some comments from fans of the game/ anime actually could relate to the PV better).
Hello!! Thank you for commenting on my journal =D And thank you so much for the encouragement! Hope to be able to translate more Galneryus stuff in the near future =D And I added you back as friend too!

By the way, do you like Kizuna?
