I'm new to Sims challenges, but this sounded really fun and I thought I'd give it a go. I'm (more or less) following
nepheris's rules, which you can find
here. I've mostly fudged on the setup part because A) I had a few families with children that I wanted to rescue from a previously borked neighborhood,* and B) I used money cheats to build their houses since I love decorating too much not to. The premise I'm going by is that these families have fled the wreckage of their old neighborhoods and are resettling an abandoned village. The look is less "brand new, provisional settlement" and more "shabby, reclaimed buildings."
I've also never tried documenting anything that happens in my game, so I'm still figuring out screenshots and poseboxes and camera controls and all that. For example, without paying attention, I accidentally played a sim week and ended up with 75 pictures that looked like this:
Oops.
So, for at least one household, "Week One" on the blog won't be exactly "Week One" in game; but it's pretty close, so let's just pretend like it is. All caveats aside-- I've enjoyed looking at other people's BACC stories in the past, and I look forward to sharing mine with anyone who happens to stop by. Here we go!
