Re: Great start on the BACC!mswnJune 6 2011, 23:51:56 UTC
Thanks! There's not really a great reason that my founder has a family. I started out the BaCC with a slightly different configuration of settlers, with a few families with kids that I wanted to save from my corrupted neighborhoods, and my only single settlers were men, and I just didn't want to default to having a male leader. So I picked Frida, because she seemed up to the task. For me, it just wasn't that important to have a founder start her family from scratch at the beginning of the challenge (and I think her having a family will motivate her to become a better mayor!). I guess I'm more interested in the development of the city than the exact circumstances of its origin. But yeah, I definitely fudged quite a bit on the setup of my BaCC!
Thank you! Oh, the poseboxes! That was an interesting night. I found quite a... variety of things when searching for poseboxes to start with; and then the process of using them was kind of funny, especially since I forgot to turn motivedecay off at first. Learning curves!
I love your userpic. It reminds me of Anne of Green Gables, which is always a good thing.
This has been on my to-read list for several days. I'm very eager to see how Jasper and the pregnant gals fare. I love the picture of Gemma and Charlie together - so sweet.
You're off to a fabulous start - you seem like a natural at posing/photography.
